17 Karma Estate
“कर्मणो ह्यपि बोद्धव्यं बोद्धव्यं च विकर्मणः।
अकर्मणश्च बोद्धव्यं गहना कर्मणो गतिः॥”
(Bhagavad Gita 4.17)
“One must understand action, forbidden action, and inaction — for the path of karma is deep and mysterious.”
In a grand, echoing villa named 17 Karma Estate, lives Abhimanyu Jagirdar, a 65-year-old widower battling dementia. His days pass in solitude as his son, Rudra, a busy corporate professional, leaves for work each morning — leaving Abhimanyu not only alone in the house but also trapped in a fading world where faces blur and memories dissolve.
As loneliness deepens, the boundary between past and present begins to crumble. One day, a stranger arrives… claiming to be Rudra. The doctor dismisses it as a delusion — a cruel trick of Abhimanyu’s deteriorating mind. Yet something about the man feels unsettlingly real.
Drawn into a web of confusion, fear, and shifting realities, Abhimanyu is forced to confront the question: Is his mind betraying him, or is there a darker truth lurking within the walls of 17 Karma Estate?
A gripping psychological mystery, 17 Karma Estate delves into the fragile fabric of memory, identity, and the karmic ties that bind us. As the Gita reminds us — the essence of action and illusion is never what it seems.
