About Event
Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is one of the main scriptures of Sanatan Dharma. Maharishi Ved Vyasji wrote the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. It contains 12 canto & 18,000 verses. The Katha of God which helps a person to surrender in devotion (bhakti) is known as Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. Shrimad Bhagwat Katha contains the pastimes of God in his human form, the stories of devotees of God and listeners of Bhagwat Katha also immerse in the bliss of bhajans. Born in the 84 Kos area of Braj (Vrindavan) in Village Khambi, District Palwal, Haryana, India. Pujya Devi Chitralekhaji (Deviji) started preaching Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at the early age of 7 years. She set a new benchmark by taking Shrimad Bhagwat Katha to devotees' lives in an effective manner. Pujya Devi Chitralekhaji (Deviji) has recited over 250+ Kathas and inspired thousands of devotees (through Bhagwat Katha) and millions of devotees (through T.V., Social Media etc) towards devotion (Bhakti) and given the right direction to their lives. All monies which are donated by devotees during Bhagwat Katha or otherwise due to their faith are used to run Gau Seva Dham Hospital. This was founded in 2013, with the blessings of Devi Chitralekhaji (Deviji). Gau Seva Dham Hospital has since been giving free of cost treatment to sick & wounded cows and other birds & animals.
