According to local lore:

• A devotee named Jethashankarbhai Trivedi had a vision of Lord Hanuman appearing at this location about 420 years ago. Though initially skeptical, the vision repeated, prompting a search at the site, where they discovered the idol and installed it. 

• The temple earned its name because devotees widely believe that their requests are fulfilled "instantly" (“zatpatiya”) after worship.
